The field is framed by multiple geometric borders, including a richly drawn main border with stylized tribal elements, all rendered in a classic Caucasian palette of deep indigo, madder red, soft ivory, and accents of sky blue and ochre. The rug is notable for its crisp drawing, fine knotting, and excellent clarity, reflecting the high level of craftsmanship typical of Shirvan village weavings.
